24 Greville St, London, EC1N 8SS (Farringdon)

Greville Street

We've kept the original exposed brick, wood flooring and steel columns in this Victorian Warehouse, working with architects Metropolitan Workshop.
Very close to Farringdon Station (around 100 yards) on the corner of Saffron Hill and Greville Street, it's apparently the exact location of Fagin's Den “…a dirty and more wretched place he [Oliver] had never seen”. Wander east from Farringdon Station and you’ll find atmospheric 18th and 19th-century corners that are regularly used for filming and are literally Dickensian: Saffron Hill and Greville Street, after all, is the location of Fagin’s Den “…a dirty and more wretched place he [Oliver] had never seen”. Smithfield meat market is a real monument – London’s last great central wholesale market – and you’re spoiled for pubs and restaurants here. The Jerusalem on Britton Street is fabulously vintage; while St John is renowned for its simple but sophisticated food.
