Green Park House

Green Park House is on Stratton Street, just north of Piccadilly and a mere 75 yards from Green Park tube station and Green Park itself. Built originally as an arts and crafts residence, architects Wells Mackereth and Scott Brownrigg collaborated to create a truly beautiful building, restoring the features from the original design by C J Harold Cooper in 1895. This is the smallest of all the Royal Parks, and one of the nicest places in central London to relax awhile. The local attractions are justly famous and too numerous to list, but we’d namecheck The Wolseley, which has famous breakfasts, and the Royal Academy, which is one of the country’s best galleries. If you need The Ritz, that’s also close.
