Would you take business advice from Donald Trump?

One thing we all know about America’s leader is that he isn’t afraid to make his opinions public and nobody says things you can’t believe you’re hearing more flippantly than The Donald.

Whether you like him or not, you can’t accumulate a fortune of 3.7 billion dollars without making some good decisions, but would you take business advice from Donald Trump?

These 10 quotes about meetings and business should help to make up your mind.

1. Be courteous and welcoming

“I wouldn't mind a little bow. In Japan, they bow. I love it. Only thing I love about Japan.”

2. Pay close attention

“I have an attention span that's as long as it has to be.”

3. Get your priorities straight

“If you're interested in 'balancing' work and pleasure, stop trying to balance them.”

4. Don’t micromanage

“I don’t hire a lot of number-crunchers, and I don’t trust fancy marketing surveys. I do my own surveys and draw my own conclusions.”

5. Honesty is the best policy

“Do you mind if I sit back a little? Because your breath is very bad.” – Watch video.

6. Stick to your guns

“If you’re fighting for something you believe in – even if it means alienating some people along the way – things usually work out for the best.”

7. Practice makes perfect

“Everything I do in life is framed through the view of a businessman. That's my instinct. If I go into a pharmacy to buy shaving cream, then I'm going to look for the best deal on shaving cream.”

8. Learn to delegate

“Well, yes, I've fired a lot of people. Generally I like other people to fire, because it's always a lousy task. But I have fired many people.”

9. Always stay humble

“I don't make deals for the money. I've got enough, much more than I'll ever need. I do it to do it.”

10. Never give up. Never.

“My style of deal-making is simple. I aim very high, and then I just keep pushing and pushing and pushing to get what I’m after.”
